Student Academy Awards Coming to New York

The Academy has announced it student winners of the 52nd Student Academy Awards competition. There are 4 categories with 3 winners in each.  Of the 12 winners, 2 are from New York schools.

In the Documentary category, NYU's Jane Deng submitted "I Remember". In the Narrative category, Columbia's Zefan Wang submitted "Kubrick, Like I Love You".

For the first time, the award ceremony is being held in New York City. It will take place Monday, October 6 at 6pm at the Ziegfeld Ballroom, coinciding with this year's New York Film Festival.
