The GreenRoomNewYork was able to capture the feature film The Bride! in production on the Upper West Side of Manhattan on Wednesday, May 1st and Thursday, May 2nd. The film based on characters created by Mary Shelley was written by Maggie Gyllenhaal. Maggie Gyllenhaal is directing the film and also producing.

Jessie Buckley is The Bride and Christian Bale plays Frankenstein's Monster. Additional actors in the film include Annette Bening, Penelope Cruz, Julianne Hough, John Magaro, Peter Sarsgaad, Linda Emond, and Jeannie Berlin.

On set were many vintage automobiles. One scene had several vintage police vehicles responding to a victim on the street.

In day two of Upper West Side production, the crew were busy getting the Bride scaling the outside of the building as well as Christian Bale's Frankenstein character's dialogue in front of the building's door way.

Shooting went into the late night with production not shutting down into the A.M. hours.
