Director Jafar Panahi's film OFFSIDE is screening outdoors at the Hearst Plaza at Lincoln Center on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at 8pm. The screening is free for everyone to attend. You can just show up and go see the film or reserve a ticket by following through here: https://lincolncenter.org

Panahi uses humor to expose the position of women in Iranian society. This all-ages film about a group of women who attempt to infiltrate a men-only football stadium during a World Cup qualifying game in Iran.

The 1 hour and 33-minute film will be in Persian with English subtitles. All gender bathrooms and a refillable water station are at David Geffen Hall lobby. Concessions are Festival Food Truck and The Spotlight Bar. Outside food is not permitted. Metal armless chairs will be arranged for viewing and sitting during the film.
