REBEL WITHOUT A CAUSE, the classic 1955 film starring the late James Dean, is screening at the New Plaza Cinema on the Upper West Side. Filmmaker Brian Vincent is going to be sharing some footage of a new documentary that he and partner Heather Spore are creating about James Dean in 1950's NYC. These filmmakers are the ones who brought you the MAKE ME FAMOUS movie. Speaking with Brian some months ago, he mentioned that most people don't realize that James Dean, although famous for features Rebel Without a Cause and East of Eden, worked on a lot of TV shows in New York at the time.
