Moonstruck Teaser Opens Met's Summer HD Festival

(released 7/30/2014)

Moonstruck, the winner of multiple Oscars, will screen free to the public on August 22. The screening is co-hosted by The Film Society of Lincoln Center and the Metropolitan Opera. Key scenes in Norman Jewison's 1987 film were shot in front of the famous Opera House.

Seats are available for 3,100 people with additional space on the plaza, all of which are available via first-come first-served basis. The "special tease" screening of Moonstruck is the night before the start of the Met Opera's "Summer HD Festival".  The Met's most popular Live in HD productions from past seasons can be watched for free in the plaza August 23 through September 1, 2014.
