"NYSFF celebrates independent films and filmmakers who push the boundaries of storytelling within the short format." Downtown Manhattan at Cinema Village is where the annual festival takes place. The festival showcases the best in short film from around the world.
Running from October 30 - November 3, 2026, the 7 days of films and filmmakers will show 100 plus films. There will be 6pm, 7:30pm and 9pm shorts block each night, all taking place at Cinema Village located at 22 East 12th Street in Manhattan.
