Monday Mixer with the Sparrow Film Project

The Sparrow Film Project is holding their Monthly Monday Mixer for Movie Makers on August 7, 2017 at the Sparrow Tavern. Mike Free is a co-producer of the project and will be tending bar with happy hour specials from 9-11p.m. at this gathering of filmmakers. Introduce yourself. Mike can introduce you to others to team up with and you can learn about what is planned for 2017. This will be the second to the last monthly meeting before teams officially sign up.
The project has grown in the eight years of producing yet keeps the core experience the same: draw an assignment for a three minute film and make that film in three weeks. The competition has a sign up period, production period, and a turn-in date and time. The Sparrow Film Project builds community through the project competition, hosting screenings to share the films with the community, producing networking events with industry collaborators, and presenting educational seminars with industry experts to expand filmmakers' skillset.
The Sparrow Tavern is located at 24-01 29th Street, Astoria, Queens.
