Pennebaker & Hegedus promote Unlocking the Cage

Documentary filmmakers D.A. Pennebaker and Chris Hegedus are out promoting their latest work Unlocking the Cage. The film follows animal rights lawyer Steven Wise as he challenges the laws that separate animals and humans in an attempt to protect animals.
Pennebaker and Hegedus are going to talk on Filmwax Radio, a weekly podcast hosted by Adam Schartoff. You can sit in on the conversation during live recording at DCTV on Friday, May 20. You can register for the free event through Eventbrite (link below).
Unlocking the Cage opens nationally in June with a week run at Film Forum beginning May 25th. Pennebaker and Hegedus will attend a few of the screenings along with Wise. The opening screening is sold out.
