IndieWorks Presents Best of Fest on April 3rd

CongestedCat presents Indie Works, a once-a-month screening, from June through March. All of the films are made by New York filmmakers. Six films usually screen each month and one of those films is picked and awarded the "Silver Whisker". All monthly winners then merge for a Best of Fest night which will be April 3, 2014 at the People's Lounge where both the floors and an additional screen will be available for the gathering of film watching.

The Indie Works screenings were started by Christina Raia in April 2013 and is currently run by the CongestedCat Productions, LLC. team. Hosted by Lauren A. Kennedy & Tony Curtis, the evening will include prizes for winning films, audience member giveaways, and connections between fellow filmmakers. The People's Lounge is located at 163 Allen Street.
