PaleyFest: Made in NY Celebrates NY Media Work

The Paley Center for Media is collaborating with the New York City Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment to bring about PaleyFest: Made in NY, October 2-6, 2013. The Paley Center for Media, 25 West 52nd Street in Manhattan, is the festival's location.

New York's media industry continues to surge with production. The PaleyFest will celebrate and highlight the following shows with "confirmed panel events with cast and creators of Orange Is the New Black, Elementary, The Americans, Small Empires with Alexis Ohanian, The Outs, and Boardwalk Empire" according to the festival's website and a published post from Made in NY.

Tickets will go on sale to Paley Center members on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at noon. The general public will be able to purchase tickets online or by calling the center starting at noon on Friday, September 6, 2013.

Made In NY published a post further stating, "There will also be free events focused on educating the public about career opportunities in media in NYC; additional details will be announced shortly."
