New York Television Festival Shifts to July

(released 12/9/2017)

The 14th Annual New York Television Festival has shifted its schedule from October for dates in July.  This year, it is running July 14-19, 2018. Spend summer in the city as an official artist of the festival.

Deadlines to submit are approaching. The Independent Pilot Competition will begin accepting entries January 2, 2018.  The early submission deadline for the 2018 Independent Pilot Competition is February 5, 2018. Animation and short form series are welcome to submit.

The NYTVF 2018 Scripts Competition will be accepting half-hour comedy series and hour-long drama series scripts for broadcast, cable and digital platform buyers. If your script is selected, you are invited to attend the festival as an Official Artist. This allows you access to exclusive events and panel options during the festival as well as face time with executives.  The Scripts Competition submission period begins March 7 and ends March 28, 2018.

The NYTVF is a pioneer in independent television. The festival fosters writers and develops talent to prepare them to sell their stories. Stay involved here: www.nytvf.com
