Made In NY Talks Covering New Media This Fall

(released 10/12/2017)

Fall brings MADE IN NY TALKS presented by the Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment. MOME will once again collaborate with The Center for Communication on five of the scheduled events and will record TALKS for broadcast on NYC Media website.

"Our city's creative industries have never been more vibrant – and opportunities for New Yorkers to launch careers in these fields continue to grow," said Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment Commissioner Julie Menin. "Our upcoming season of 'Made in NY' Talks features top talent in a variety of fields discussing how they made careers out of their passions – and how to leverage all that our city's media and entertainment world has to offer. These discussions are all free and open to the public, and I encourage New Yorkers to join us and hear first-hand advice from industry veterans."

Three of the MADE IN NY TALKS will be in partnership with NY Media Center by IFP. The fall season of TALKS will also include "Breaking into VR/AR". The Bronx Virtual & Augmented Reality Academy and Development Lab at Lehman College/CUNY will host.
