This weekend at the Montclair Film Fest, you can expect panels, films, parties, and Bill Nye the Science Guy. The festival is closing this weekend and the opportunity to participate and engage is still possible.
The American Black Film Festival will be presenting a free panel with alumni filmmakers who will educate those interested in the path from festival to career.
Bill Nye is taking on climate change deniers. His documentary BILL NYE THE SCIENCE GUY (www.billnyefilm.com) will screen Saturday followed by a post screening conversation with Bill Nye and Late Show host Stephen Colbert.
We Are Rising is Stanley Nelson's film about American black colleges and universities. The centerpiece documentary will include Stanley Nelson in attendance and an additional ticket gets you into to the after House party.
This week has marked the 25th anniversary of the Rodney King verdict and ensuing riots in LA. Relive the events and dive into the fictional story of Gook. Two Koreans in the path of the riots have to make life altering choices. Gook plays Friday, May 5 at 9:00pm in Clairidge Cinema 1.
