Every Year After is a new TV show that started streaming June 10th on Amazon Prime. It screened an episode at Tribeca Festival on June 8th with a red carpet before and Q&A after.

"We meet Percy Fraser—a young woman working as an obituary writer in Seattle—when she gets the shocking news that a beloved person in her life, Sue Florek, has passed away. It's been over a decade since she left Barry's Bay and spoken to anyone from town... particularly the Florek brothers. Flooded with emotions and memories of her past mistakes, Percy is reluctant to go—so her best friend, Chantal, joins her for moral support. Once in Barry's Bay—the quintessential Canadian lake town—Percy starts bumping into people from her past without the warmest welcome, and it looks like all her worst fears are coming true.
