Lucy Schulman is Ellie Sachs' feature directorial debut. Sachs wrote, directed, and actually plays Lucy Schulman. Sachs is no stranger to Tribeca. She had short film Proof of Concept, starring Richard Kind, screen at the festival in 2023. Lucy Schulman is described as, "After a crushing breakup, Lucy moves back in with her eccentric single dad and dives into bad dates, false starts, and growing pains." David Cross plays Lucy's dad. Lucy Schulman held its world premiere at the Tribeca Festival on Friday, June 5th. Lucy Schulman is Ellie Sachs' feature directorial debut. Sachs wrote, directed, and actually plays Lucy Schulman.
