American Black Film Festival Announces 2026 Dates and Opens Call for Submissions.

Returning to Miami Beach, Florida from May 27 to May 31, 2026 this year's festival will herald the 30th Anniversary and follow the theme "The Homecoming".

The curatorial approach will be new with a portion of the lineup shaped by ABFF alumni and longtime supporters. The participating alumni will help design and present programming that aligns with "The Homecoming" theme and will showcase the festival's impact since its inception in 1997.

The call for submissions in the following categories are requested through February 10: Narrative Features, Documentary Features, Series, Voices of Culture, African Stories, and AI and XR Storytelling Showcase.
