1977 Television Saga ROOTS at Brooklyn Ethical

Brooklyn Ethical is offering three days of screening ROOTS the 1977 series tracing six generations of enslavement to freedom. The show episodes will be shown on the big screen showing two 1 hour and 35 minute episodes per day with a short intermission. Refreshments will be provided at every session.

This is an opportunity to see the full series in community with time and space to reflect, discuss and digest together. The sessions are free to attend and open to the public.

The first screening is scheduled for Thursday, July 17th from 6-9:30pm and will show episodes 1 & 2. Friday, July 18th episodes 3 & 4 will screen from 6-9:30pm. Then episodes 5&6 will screen Saturday, July 19th from 2-5:30pm.
