On Monday, May 19th, a screening of Malcolm X (1972) will be celebrating the leader's one hundredth anniversary of his birth. The Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture is dedicating the screening to the enduring legacy and evolving impact of Malcolm X. The Schomburg Center is located at 515 Malcolm X Boulevard in Harlem.
The powerful 1972 documentary, narrated by James Earl Jones, presents Malcolm X speeches, interviews and appearances as they were originally recorded.
The film has a running time of 91 minutes. The event will run from 1-3pm.
