Queens World Film Festival Opens March 4

Queens World Film Festival will open on March 4, 2014 at the Moving Image Museum of Art and spill out amongst the Queens borough till March 9th.

The festival is in its 4th year and is able to boast that 18 local Queens filmmakers will have work represented at this year's festival.  In addition to a strong local turn out, the international offerings are vast.

The films are programmed in blocks allowing like minded to be able to get the most of the screenings. Themes of the blocks include titles: Forgiveness, Mind Games, All about Women, All about New York, Rounding a Corner, Significant Others, Romeo and Blood, Reasonable Doubt, Roadless, and World Spotlight.

Industry Panel - "Film Finance and Distribution in the Streaming/Tweeting/Blogging/Why-Should-I-Share-It-For-Free-Era.", Parties, and Community collaboration is gelling this annual event into a Borough Institution.
