Pearl Jam Week on Late Night w/ Jimmy Fallon

(released 10/18/2013)

Late Night with Jimmy Fallon will be celebrating the release of Pearl Jam's Lightning Bolt. Announced on the Late Night Blog, the week of October 21-25 will be deemed Pearl Jam Week.

Just like we were introduced over twenty years ago to the now famous Pearl Jam band, Soundgarden front man Chris Cornell will usher in Pearl Jam Week.

On Monday night's show, Cornell will perform "Footsteps" backed by members of the Avett Brothers. "Footsteps" is the B-side song of Pearl Jam's highest grossing single "Jeremy".

On Tuesday, October 22, special guests will back Fleet Foxes front man Robin Pecknold as they cover "Corduroy".

Wednesday night has country music's Dierks Bentley, Pearl Jam's Mike McCready and the Roots "teamed for a one-of-a-kind performance" as described by Late Night blogger Marina Cockenberg.

The week will swell to two nights of Pearl Jam taking the show's stage performing both Thursday, October 24 and Friday, October 25, 2013.
