Memorial Day is Monday, May 27, 2024 and the Intrepid will be celebrating with several events for Fleet Week leading up to the holiday. One such event will be Friday evening, May 24th with a free screening of TOP GUN: MAVERICK on the Intrepid flight deck. Guests are invited to this first come first serve screening with doors opening at 7:00pm for a sunset start time of the film. The doors will close at 8:30pm.
Guests are invited to bring a lawn chair, picnic basket and blankets to view the outdoor film. The film will be projected onto a huge inflatable screen on the flight deck. Space is limited, so get there early to get your spot on the deck. Light concessions will be sold on-site and visitors are encouraged to bring their own food and non-alcoholic beverages.
The movie will have open captions and exiting the deck is final; there is no re-entry allowed.
