Jacob Rogal's documentary Born Melo had its world premiere on June 12th at SVA Theatre. The doc looks at former New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony as he is inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame. It also covers his son Kiyan as he launches his collegiate career at the same school Carmelo attended, Syracuse University.

The film premiered as part of the Tribeca Festival. There was a red carpet to start the evening and a Q&A that followed the screening. Carmelo was there for all of it along with his son Kiyan. They were joined by filmmakers and fellow Hall of Fame inductee as well as friend, Dwyane Wade.
