If you grew up in the 70s and 80s and you watched any tennis on TV, you rooted for Chris Evert or Martina Navratilova. If they were competing against each other, you were watching. They played head-to-head 80 times over their careers and they were fierce competitors.
Director Rebecca Gitlitz and Producer Jenna Ricker put together a documentary Chris & Martina: The Final Set and Tribeca Festival hosted the world premiere. The movie screened at SVA Theatre on Wednesday, June 10th.
This documentary covers their history as world class athletes and how they've become friends over the years especially since both have battled cancer.
