Tribeca Storytelling Summit Starts with Zach Braff

The Tribeca Festival started its Storytelling Summit with Actor, Writer, and Director Zach Braff on Thursday, June 4th. It took place at the festival hub Spring Studios. The Storytelling Summit talks are designed to bring filmmakers together with the creative community and run through June 13th.

Zach Braff, if you're unfamiliar, is known for starring in the television comedy series Scrubs as well as directing Garden State. He acts in the feature film Clean Hands, which is currently playing at the Tribeca Festival. Screenings are June 7th, 8th, and 11th at the Village East by Angelika.

Based on a true story, Clean Hands follows Kevin Simmers, played by Braff, a narcotics officer grappling with his 19-year-old daughter's worsening opioid addiction.
