GREEN STREETS is a film by Maria De Luca. The film is a documentary about the emergence of community gardens in the 70s and 80s. The screening will take place at 7:30pm on Thursday, June 18, 2026 at the Brooklyn Peace Center located at 23 Marcus Garvey Blvd.

Alcove Cinema is producing the monthly film screening at the Peace Center. The film screening event will include a Q&A with the filmmaker, Seed Sharing, resources by Field Meridians and Free Tea by The Tea Stand.
