Movies Under the Stars is Back in NYC Parks (released Thursday, April 23, 2026) By Kimberly Burke This summer's MOVIES UNDER THE STARS at NYC Parks schedule of screenings has been announced. Starting Friday, May 1, 2026, SONIC: THE HEDGEHOG 3 (2024) will screen. You can join your fellow New Yorkers at Thomas Jefferson Park in Manhattan from 8-9:30pm for FREE! The movies are scheduled throughout the summer till September. You can currently view the month of May schedule on the park's website here: https://www.nycgovparks.org The movies have chairs reserved for seniors and people with disabilities, so that everyone can enjoy a good movie. All are encouraged to bring some food, find your spot, and enjoy the show.
