The Devil Wears Prada 2 premiered Monday, April 20, 2026 at Lincoln Center's David Geffen Hall. Black SUVs filed down Broadway dropping off actors and filmmakers so they may join the red carpet that engulfed the entire Lincoln Center Plaza.

Fans of the film gathered across Broadway in a pocket park, while others stood in mass on either side of the red-carpet entrance in hopes of catching a glimpse before the stars disappeared into the large atrium built to house the red-carpet press line and photographers.

Several cast members stopped to wave to fans upon exiting their vehicles additionally standing on the stage flanked by the red high heels to let many photograph their presence at the event.

The film directed by David Frankel has Miranda Priestly nearing retirement. She reunites with Andy Sachs to face off against her former assistant turned rival: Emily Charlton. The film stars Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci.

Look for the film in a theater near you on May 1, 2026. AMC theaters have April 30 screenings listed for New York City.

Here is a video capturing a little of the red carpet premiere mayhem. Around 35 seconds, you can hear a police officer yelling in a vain attempt to get onlookers to back up to the sidewalk. Around 1:15, you can catch Ann Hathaway waving to crowd and blowing kisses.
