BAM Rose Cinemas celebrates Jane Fonda with IndieCollect's 4K restoration of F.T.A. starring Jane Fonda, Donald Sutherland, Pamela Donegan, Len Chandler, Paul Mooney, and Holly Near; the film is directed by Francine Parker.

This film was in the shadows for decades for its political nature. In 1972, to ask why we are fighting this war was not something that was going to remain in circulation. THE SHOW THE PENTAGON COULDN'T STOP! The film's poster read. FTA "Free the Army" in addition to asking why are we in this war, showed the anger, doubt about a war they don't understand.

Jane Fonda, Donald Sutherland and fellow artists toured with this show entertaining 60K troops. This tour upset the U.S. military and political pressure had the film version taken out of circulation.
