Philip K Dick Sci-Fi Film Festival This Weekend
(released Thursday, March 12, 2026)
By Kimberly Burke

The Philip K Dick Film Festival is a 2-day festival dedicated to works influenced by the writings of you guessed it, Philip K. Dick. If you don't know his writing, think Total Recall, The Man in the High Castle, Blade Runner, A Scanner Darkly, Minority Report, or The Adjustment Bureau.

The festival takes place Friday and Saturday, March 13th and 14th. Friday's screenings will take place at the Producer's Club located at 358 West 44th Street in Manhattan. Saturday's screenings will take place at the Producer's Club as well as Village East located at 181-189 Second Avenue also in Manhattan.

One of the highlights is the closing night film, Past Life. Past Life stars Aneurin Barnard as Jason, a journalist traumatized by his time in the Middle East. His pregnant wife Claira, played by Pixie Lott, drags him to a TV show. Jeremy Piven stars as a celebrity hypnotist making audience members experience their past lives. Jason thinks he is a con until Tim, the hypnotist, takes Jason under with a click of his fingers, and he experiences the word through the eyes of a 1980's serial killer. This 7-9pm film premiere will include a Q&A with Director Simeon Halligan, producers, lead actors, and a past life regression therapist with client.

From 11pm-11:30pm, the 13th Annual Awards Ceremony will take place.
