Starting January 9 and running until February 8, 2026, CURATOR's CHOICE 2025 will be taking place at the Museum of the Moving Image. The presentation of films premiered in 2025 and when surveyed, these became favorite films of 2025. Big studio releases and art work films were recognized and included in this exhibit.

Organized by Senior Curator of Film Michael Koresky; Associate Director of Special Programs Sarah Luciano; and Film and Public Programs Manager Emily Greenberg.

This program allows audiences to once again experience a favorite film released this year on the big screen and some films will include special guests at the screening (actors, writers, directors, producers). The event schedule has included the names of guests with the film they are representing.
