The Center at West Park will Kick-Off the 2026 CWP Film Center on January 9th with a screening of Heathers. This movie event includes a talk back with Christian Slater. Doors will open at 6:30PM for a 7PM screening.

CWP Members can reserve one complimentary ticket and all others can reserve tickets by scanning the QR code on the event flyer. Tickets are also available on Eventbrite.

The Sanctuary at St. Paul and St. Andrew United Methodist Church located at 263 W 86th St., New York, NY 10024 is where the evening will be held.

Heathers follows Veronica Sawyer (Wynona Ryder), a high school student who is part to the popular, cruel clique at Westerburg High, led by three girls named Heather. Bored with their toxic social world, Veronica falls for the mysterious new student J.D. (Christian Slater), whose dark view of society quickly turns dangerous. What begins as revenge pranks escalates and sends the school into chaos. As the situation spirals out of control, Veronica must stop J.D. before his violent plans destroy the school and everyone in it.
