The film captures Pulitzer Prize-winning Photographer and Mom Lynsey Addario. In the male-dominated world of conflict photography, Lynsey Addario knows the dangers of her work. She has been kidnapped twice while on assignment in war zones. She has covered the Middle East, Afghanistan and the Ukraine.

Each time Addario leaves home for work, she wrestles with the dangers of the work and leaving her husband and two sons. She is torn between the commitment to the essential work of journalism and the competing demands of motherhood. Her grappling with it means to follow your true calling when it threatens everything you love.
