The Rotterdam Lab Fellowship is a partnership between The Gotham Film & Media Institute and CineMart. Annually they select two producers to participate in the Rotterdam Lab. The fellowship is open to U.S. citizens or US-based producers with no more than two feature-length film producing credits.
The 2026 edition of the Lab will take place in Rotterdam, Netherlands from January 30 to February 4, 2026.
The Rotterdam Lab is designed to build up emerging producers' international network and experience. It is part of the International Film Festival Rotterdam's CineMart in cooperation with its international partner organizations. The lab offers panel discussions for better understanding of the process by which a project in need of financing is completed and brought to audiences. The lab also includes speed dating sessions in which selected producers meet with industry delegates and receive advice about their own projects.
The deadline to apply for the fellowship is Friday, November 7, 2025.
