The Art of Brooklyn Film Festival is currently taking submissions for the festival June 1-12, 2026. Early bird deadline is October 21, 2025. Regular Deadline is March 7, 2026, extended deadline April 17, 2026, and notification date will be May 1, 2026 for the June festival.

As of 2025, 37 of the festival premieres have gotten distribution — and one became an HBO series.
Founded in 2011 by working artists, AoBFF has partnered with film and media companies like Sony, Gravitas Ventures, HBO, NBC/Universal, Fangoria magazine, ESPN Films, LesFlicks, IFC Films and more to realize their programming.
