Midtown Cultural Alliance Launches September 12-21
(released Monday, September 8, 2025)
By Kimberly Burke

A few Midtown organizations are forming the Midtown Cultural Alliance. They feel that Midtown is lagging in its perception as a destination neighborhood.  Yes, it has Broadway and Times Square as attractions, but that doesn't necessarily make a neighborhood.

So the alliance which during its formation is made of 5 partners—Japan Society, L'Alliance New York, Scandinavia House, The Korea Society, and Korean Cultural Center New York—is trying to change things.

They are launching with an initiative running from September 12-21. There will be events, some free and some paid, where visitors get a passport and then collect stamps. After 3 stamps are collected, a visitor can redeem it for a free gift.

You can gather more information at midtownculturalalliance.org.  Below is the full list of events including a few films!
