Moving Image Award Gala honoring MA RAINEY's BLACK BOTTOM.  

The virtual gala will be live streamed and will feature cast, crew and producers. Ma Rainey is played by Viola Davis, Branford Marsalis is the film's composer, Densel Washington executive produced the film and costume designer Ann Roth are among the group of filmmakers.  

This is a story of racial exploitation in the American music business in 1920's Chicago and is directed by George C. Wolfe. He is the noted honoree at this Winter Award Gala.

The film will screen December 15 ahead of the Netflix December 18 release date to attendees' homes.
