Finance Lab and Workshop for Female Filmmakers

The Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment will be presenting the 2018 MOME FINANCE LAB TO SUPPORT FEMALE FILMMAKERS. Women filmmakers can connect with funders for their projects on April 17, 2018. The pitch of your project is everything in this programmed opportunity. The Mayor's Office wants you to be successful, adding a pitch workshop prior to the Finance Lab date to strengthen your skills.
Participants for this year's pitch workshop and Finance Lab pitch session have yet to be chosen. Last year's participants ranged in age from 22-75, were at different levels in their careers as filmmakers, represented diverse backgrounds and various film genres. This year's participants will be selected by a committee that includes:

The Writers Guild of America East
The Producers Guild of America
Independent Film Project
Film Fatales
Firelight Media
Asian Cinevison
Cinema Tropical
Women Independent Producers
Sundance Instiitue's Native Program
Women Filmmakers interested in attending the Film Finance Lab should read more detailed information on the Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment website about what they are looking for in participants and how to submit your name now for consideration. The deadline for entry is March 30, 2018.
