Nitehawk Shorts Film Festival is currently accepting submissions for their 2026 presentation. Scheduled to take place on April 8-12, 2026, now is the time to get your film to them for consideration.

The festival celebrates independent filmmaking. The main slate features a range of filmmakers from film school students, to Academy Award nominees. All forms: animation, documentary, narrative, non-narrative, artist films, music videos, horror are part of the program. Local, national, and international artists are showcased. The festival encourages engagement with larger audiences and dialogue with the New York film community.
