Brooklyn Savvy Kicks Off Season 20

Brooklyn Savvy is having its Season 20 Premiere, May 19th at 10 am on NYC Life. Brooklyn Savvy TV is a social justice digital talk show network that seeks to inform, inspire, look at and unpack long standing societal habits and behaviors, stigmas, activities, policies and structures in marginalized communities through invigorating conversations. The shows guests are diverse bootstrappers, activists, educators and leaders. The program's belief is that knowledge and communication is the root of attaining social and economic justice across all sectors of life.

Toni Williams is the creator, on air personality, and executive producer of Brooklyn Savvy. Toni has received the National Medal of Art, recognized by President Joe Biden. Former Mayor Michael Bloomberg's Commission of Women's Issues honored Toni at their Annual Women's History Month Program for her part in shaping the dialogue around women's issues. Brooklyn Savvy was also recognized with two awards from the Black and Latino Filmmakers Coalition.
