Oscar Watch Parties in New York City 2024

New York Oscar Watch Parties are happening throughout the city on March 10th when ABC will broadcast the ceremony live from Los Angeles. The 96th Academy Awards broadcast show will have a new start time of 7p.m. and will be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel. Nicholas Cage, Jamie Lee Curtis, Brendan Fraser, Jessica Lange, Matthew McConaughey, Lupita Nyong'o, Michelle Pfeiffer, Ke Huy Quan, Sam Rockwell, Michelle Yeoh, Mahershala Ali, and Zendaya will present at the 96th Oscars ceremony. The show runner is Raj Kapoor and executive producers will be Molly McNearney and Katy Mullan. The following are watch parties planned throughout the city to see the evening's award show amongst your fellow movie fans.



Metrograph Oscar party 2024 will show the 96th annual awards in two theaters and lobby. No tickets required and it is first come first serve. Tables in the commissary and balcony are reserved for members. Oscar ballots are available for download and must be turned in by 7pm to be able to win prizes valued at up to $500. Doors are at 5pm and the red carpet will be broadcast. The Live show broadcast will begin at 6:30pm with ceremony beginning at 7pm. Theater two will be SHH... no talking. Get Ready to Drag the Oscars at the Roxy Hotel. Tickets are $20 and include 1 Cinema cocktail and entrance to the Roxy Cinema. Firehouse DCTV is holding its second annual Oscar Watch party with doors at 6pm and red carpet. Arrive early so you can submit your ballot for a chance to win prizes by 6:30pm. Fraunces Tavern located at 54 Pearl Street will be having its second annual Oscar Watch Party. Red Carpet Step & Repeat, Photo Booth, Movie-Themed cocktails and complimentary popcorn are planned for this 2024 party. There will be a full food and drinks menu available. 230 Fifth Rooftop bar will have a watch party amongst the NYC skyline with views of not only the Oscars but the Empire State Building. This midtown location will offer indoor viewing with large screens, a cup of popcorn, available food and  premium handcrafted cocktails menu, and hundreds of guest to share the experience with on a large rooftop. Caveat will offer Hollywood's Prom night with a live stream of the awards ceremony, featuring your favorite stars and red carpet. QED Astoria Queens will open the doors at 6:30pm for their Oscar Watch party red carpet and hang out pre-show. In addition to the Red Carpet, ballots, popcorn, prizes and trivia will be happening throughout the evening. NiteHawk Cinema Williamsburg and Prospect Park locations have already sold out one theatre each for the Oscar Watch party with hosts.
