MTV Video Music Awards Live From Jersey

The VMA's will return to New Jersey's Prudential Center.  Demi Lovato, Karol G, MÃ¥neskin and Stray Kids are the first round of global music stars slated to perform at the 2023 VMAs LIVE.

Shakira will receive the Video Vanguard Award and be the first South American artist to be given the honor. Taylor Swift leads in nominations this year with 8 closely followed by SZA with 6 nominations. Doja Cat, Kim Petras, Miley Cyrus, Nicki Minaj, Olivia Rodrigo and Sam Smith have 5 nominations each.

Hip-Hop's Lil Wayne, Anitta, Doja Cat, Kelsea Ballerini and TOMOORROW X TOGHETHER will perform on the 2023 show. Sean "Diddy" Combs will receive the Global Icon Award and perform live on the show as well.

The 2023 Video Music Awards "VMAs" will air live on MTV Tuesday, September 12th at 8p.m. ET/PT.
