(released 5/2/2023)

The Writers Guild of America called a strike effective at 12:01 a.m. Tuesday, May 2, 2023. The Writers Guild of America East put the call out to members and on social media to take to the street in midtown on Tuesday afternoon from 1:30p.m. to 4:30p.m. Upon arriving to the location of 415 5th Avenue where on this day Peacock streaming service was conducting NEWFRONT in the building, a strong stream of picket signs and voices for fair contracts prevailed.
