BULL DURHAM director Ron Shelton will introduce and participate in a post-film Q & A on Thursday, July 28 at the 7:45p.m. screening at Film Forum.
Following the event, Ron Shelton will sign copies of his book, THE CHURCH OF BASEBALL: The Making of Bull Durham: Home Runs, Bad Calls, Crazy Fights, Big Swings, and a Hit (Knopf) available for purchase at the concession stand.
A professional ball player himself, this film launched Shelton's writing career that included White Men Can't Jump (1992), Blaze (1989). He directed Jordan Rides The Bus about Michael Jordan's year in the minor leagues.
