Free Movies on the Intrepid Flight Deck

The Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum Complex will offer Free Fridays from 5pm-9pm. Celebrate the Museum's 40th anniversary with special programming including astronomy nights and free summer movies on the flight deck. The classic films that will be screened this summer will also be celebrating a 40 year anniversary. You can watch a movie under the stars on the Intrepid flight deck with a picnic and non-alcoholic beverages you bring or purchase the light concession offerings sold on site.

The following is the scheduled screenings on the deck:

Friday, June 24 - E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial
Friday, July 29 - Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan
Friday, August 26 - Blade Runner

Doors will open promptly at 5pm. Last entry to the Museum is 8:30p.m. Seating is first come first served basis and space is limited. You are invited to bring a blanket, lawn chairs, and picnic to view the films free of charge on a huge inflatable screen on the flight deck.

Movie will begin at sunset. All movies will have open captions.
