United Artists Strike Deal with Writers Guild (released 1/8/2008) By Douglas Lorah United Artists has struck a deal with the WGA. UA signed an agreement on Tuesday, January 8th to the proposals set forth by the Writers Guild. According to a public letter from WGA Presidents Michael Winship and Patric Verrone, the agreement is nearly identical to the agreement signed by David Letterman's company Worldwide Pants.
