William "Woody" Prettyman, CEO of Virginia Beach, VA based Studio Center Total Production announced in a prepared release today the acquisition of Tonic Studios, New York City.
"This is something that we have been working on for over a year so we are very happy to have it done. Picking up seven rooms in NY along with such a talented staff only makes it easier for our clients to get superior audio and video production," Prettyman said.
Tonic, located in mid-town Manhattan, at 50th East 42nd Street, excels at long form mixing, feature film scores, promo mixing, advertising and sound design. Having already won numerous Emmy's, ASCAP and Grand Mercury awards, Tonic brings award winning expertise to the Studio Center Total Production family. Tonic works extensively with a diverse group of high profile clients such as 48 hours, Dora the Explorer, All My Children, Mystery Diagnosis, and MTV's Boiling Point.
